Yorkshire Office Contracts Ltd is an Office supplies dealer, supplying office consumables, stationery & furniture items to businesses and end users throughout Yorkshire and the UK. The company's current carbon emissions are 58.35 Tonnes of CO2e per year.
Yorkshire Office Contracts Ltd's aim is to reduce the company's carbon footprint with ultimate objective of reducing our carbon emissions by 50% within 3 years, reducing our contribution to environmental change.
Yorkshire Office Contracts Will:
- Reduce our current carbon footprint by a minimum of 25% within the first year of the programme.
- Ensure all staff members are aware of each person's responsibility to help reduce our carbon emissions and the importance of doing so.
- Increase the use of recycled products within our office environment, and promote these to our customers.
- Reduce mileage of all company vehicles by way of arranging/re-arranging routes driven by all company vehicle users.
- Re-use & recycle as much of our waste as possible to reduce our contribution to landfill.
The action plan will be communicated to our staff and customers by way word of mouth meetings and signage and the action board to be located within our offices. Details of the policy will be issued to each member of staff with details explaining each person's responsibility. The Policy will also be posted on our website and copies available to our customers.
The policy will be maintained and reviewed by Ashley Abell & Paul Binks on a 3 monthly basis to monitor progress and any findings presented to staff. All subsequent findings will also be posted on the action board in our offices.
